President

With more than 33 years of experience as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Kelly's strategic tax-planning approach is designed to help your money work as efficiently as possible—both personally and in your business. Kelly firmly believes that tax planning is a cornerstone to effective wealth management, and it's an area many overlook.

"Tax implications are especially important in making retirement and business decisions or when coordinating estate-plan gifting strategies. High-net-worth individuals and businesses are impacted directly and regularly by tax; therefore, it's important to have someone on your team who will work with your legal and financial advisors to help mitigate tax liabilities and structure holdings so they are tax efficient."

Regarding tax strategies, Kelly’s specialties include:

  • Strategic tax planning: Kelly has a passion for helping high-income and high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts make their money work most efficiently through tax planning.

  • Tax planning for retirement: Kelly has helped hundreds retire successfully so they don’t need to return to work.

Active in the East Bay and Napa Valley communities, Kelly is a member of the East Bay chapter of the Financial Planning Association and is the past president of the Concord Optimist Club and Clayton Valley Concord Sunrise Rotary Club. He is also a member of the St. Helena Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of St. Helena Public Schools Foundation and Endowment. He is a frequent speaker at meetings and educational events on tax-planning strategies.

Kelly’s educational history includes:

  • California State University at Hayward—BS Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance Options
  • College for Financial Planning—CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER
  • California State University at Hayward—MBA Finance
  • Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts—Chartered Financial Analyst
